This may very well be the most difficult kind of love for many to achieve. This is where is begins and ends. If you don’t have love for yourself how can you expect others to love you in the way you deserve to be loved?
I am by no means an expert on this topic...I will leave that to the professionals. I would however like to offer a few suggestions on ways to nurture yourself physically, emotionally and mentally.🥰
Create an environment that nurtures your well-being. Using candles, aromatherapy, music and calming colors at home and at work will change the vibration into a more relaxing atmosphere. 🕯🎶
Take care of yourself like a parent would care for a child. This includes having “Me time” to do what makes you happy like getting a massage, having someone do your hair, getting a mani-pedi or practicing yoga,Tai Chi or some other form of exercise. 💅🏾🙅🏾♂️
Spend time around people who support you. My earlier post listed different kinds of friends. This would be the perfect time to call on The Builder, The Champion or The Companion. 👷🏾♀️👫
Eat healthy meals. There are lots of recipes for good eating on the web. For me, cooking is relaxing but if it is not your thing, there are many places that offer healthy meals. 🥣🥗
Keeping a journal or diary and letter or blog writing is also very cathartic. Don’t forget the doodles! 📖📬📝
